Continuing my no-makeup perfection "look", I'm turning to mascara. Even the look of no make isn't all that simple, especially when you're past the age of 17. In the past, whenever I ventured out with bare face, the comments I hoped for ("You look fantastic!" and "You look so young!") and somehow thought I'd receive were never the actual comments I got. More like "You look so tired" and "Are you OK?"
Definitely not meeting the goal.
But, instead of going bare-faced, I've chosen the technique route. Using products that appear most natural and not so obvious, heavy, or harsh. Choosing specific shades and blending well.
One step to a more natural me was to test out a different shade of mascara. Brown. I hear it's the new black. (Or, maybe I made that up?)
In the past, whenever I tried that shade, it just came across a bit to blah. (Tired possibly?) But, what better line to use as a test case than Westman Atelier. Although costly, Westman products are superior. I know, because I own a ton of them. So, I checked out Eye Want You mascara knowing Gucci Westman is the Queen of all-around perfection. Good decision.
This mascara reminds me of one from Clinique I used to love, their Naturally Glossy Mascara. Another product sent to the graveyard of much-love products. But, Eye Want You is even better. It applies so easily, isn't cake-y, and the brown is just so pretty. It looks like my lashes but better and longer; plus, it doesn't transfer or come off. And, unlike the Naturally Glossy, when I remove EWY, actual product comes off.
I want; I got.
