The ‘90s was my favorite decade. For music, clothes, and…makeup. Like most of us, I wore Revlon “Rum Raisin” lipstick or any random brick red, for that matter. I packed on MAC Studio Fix. Grunge is still very close to my heart but now, when it comes to skin, I love a good glow. Something that makes me look more fresh, less corpse-like.
After seeing Drew Barrymore apply her Flower Beauty Supernova Celestial Skin Elixir with that pat, pat, pat, and the way it made her skin radiate, of course I had to try it. And, why wouldn’t I believe this ‘90s makeup/flower-child queen? Has anyone worn a putty taupe lipstick quite like Drew Barrymore?
This dreamy lilac-colored gel-to-oil looks like a liquid unicorn in a dropper bottle and heaven on my skin. Not gleam for the Gods glow, but that type of glow you hope appears when the sun, or any random light, touches your face. Plus, it’s made with Camellia Seed Oil (my favorite) and smells like lavender. Outer and inner well-being. Ahh.
On a side note, every Flower Beauty product I’ve tried, I love. I do. Thank you, Drew.
