Gone are the days when I thought I didn't need contour or highlighter. Well, now I contour a bit and highlight a lot. Dot, dot, dot. Pat, pat, pat. I'm done. But, like any product, some highlighters work better than others.
I like to think my skin can take anything but it can't take just any highlighter. Some beautiful products I really love break me out because of one ingredient or another (coconut oil, mica). Basically, I've had to kiss a lot of frogs (or highlighters) before I found the right one or three.
One highlighter I love is Westman Atelier Liquid Super Loaded in Peau de Pêche. Gucci Westman designed a liquid form of the similarly named product already in a compact. The first WA product I bought when she introduced the line. I've been a Gucci fan for decades; and if you love how she applies makeup, you'll love her products. And this highlighter is no exception. It's what I call an "adult highlighter". Elevated. Sophisticated. Natural.
Dot, dot, dot. Pat, pat, pat. I'm done.
